Q: What is a FAQ?
A: FAQ is an acronym for "frequently asked questions."

Q: Why does the Allen County Fair happen?
A: The Allen County Fair is an event created to showcase the youth of Allen County 4-H and their projects.  It also provides a community event that is centered around family togetherness and values.

Q: Does the Allen County Fairgrounds recieve any tax money?
A: No, the Allen County Fairgrounds support itself, maintain all of the buildings and grounds and promotes the Fair with year-round rentals, the Fair Sponsors, Donations and fairgrounds memberships.

Q: How is the fair funded?
A: The Allen County Fair is funded by community donations, sponsorships, and gate income. The Allen County fair is produced by Allen County 4-H Clubs and The Allen County Fairgrounds.  Both groups are not for profit and the funds raised are used to support the 4-H programs and to keep the Allen County Fairgrounds functioning as a home for 4-H and community events.

Q: How Can I sponsor at the Allen County Fair?
A: Sponsorship forms are available at the Allen County Fairgrounds office, from the fair committee and on the 2008 sponsorship page in this website.

Q: Why should my company become a sponsor of the Allen County Fair?
A: This is our 19th year for the Fair at the Allen County Fairgrounds and a tradition for many in our area and surrounding communities.  It has grown over the past few years to attract about 25,000 visitors.  Not only will you be exposed to those in attendance at your specific event, but also to those who recieve the Fair Program Guide which is distributed throughout Allen and surrounding counties via retail locations.  You will be recognized as acommunity minded business and will recieve many avenues of advertising from signage, banners, and newsprint and in some cases radio advertising.

Q: What happens to my sponsorship dollars?
A: Sponsorship and the fair is our primary source of revenue.  all income generated supports the individual events as well as the Fair overall.  Most of our events are non-revenue generating, for example our Activity Stage is free thanks to our sponsors, the Trolley Wagon Ride is freealong with free parking.

Q: Will my company recieve an exclusive sponsorship?
A: There may be several sponsors for any one event.  Should your company wish exclusive Sponsorship, please discuss this possibility with the Sponsorship Chairman prior to signing our sponsorship form.

Q: How is the Official program guide distributed?
A: About 20,000 programs guides are printed and distributed throughout the Allen County area.  The guide is available in local retail outlets around Allen and surrounding counties.  Remaining programs are available at the 4-H office, Fairgrounds office and Fair office during the fair.
